Zdzisław Kwaśny
Zdzisław Kwaśny (born November 6, 1960 ) is a former Polish athlete who specialized in hammer throwing.
He celebrated the greatest success of his career at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 1983 . There he won the bronze medal behind Sergei Litvinow (82.68 m) and Jurij Sedych (80.94 m) from the Soviet Union with a width of 79.42 m . In the same year Kwaśny was also a Polish champion.
Zdzisław Kwaśny's personal best in hammer throwing is 80.18 m, set up on August 21, 1983 in London . The distance was the Polish record for almost seventeen years before it was exceeded by Szymon Ziółkowski .
