Zdzisław Palewicz

Zdzisław Palewicz (born September 1, 1961 in Jančiūnai near Eišiškės ) is a Lithuanian politician, mayor of the Šalčininkai district since 2009 .

Life

After graduating from high school, in 1984 he graduated from the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas with a diploma in Polish and became a teacher. From 1984 to 1985 he was director of the middle school in Kalesninkai , from 1985 to 1991 first secretary of Komsomol in Šalčininkai , from 1991 to 1995 and from 2009 to 2011 mayor and from 1995 to 2009 deputy mayor.

Palewicz is married. With his wife Leokadija he has the daughter Justyna and the son Zdzislav.

Since 2004 he has been a member of Lietuvos lenkų rinkimų akcija .
