Zebra Ridge is a striking, rocky and 3 km long mountain ridge on the east coast of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It is located 5 km south of the mouth of the Tumble Glacier in George VI Sound and protrudes 760 m above the ice masses in front of it.
The American polar explorer Lincoln Ellsworth sighted him from a distance on November 23, 1935 while taking aerial photographs of the Douglas Range . The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey took measurements in 1947 and named it after its characteristic banding .
