The Diedrich colliery is a former hard coal mine in Dortmund-Berghofen , the colliery was also known as the Dietrich colliery . Despite almost 70 years of mining history, little is known about the colliery.
Mining history
In 1779, the carried presumption of Berechtsame and about four years later, in 1783, the Berechtsame was measured. On 29 May 1793, was carried out ceremony of the length field . In 1838 the mine was put into operation and the shaft was initially sunk . The first production figures of the mine come from the year 1841, 7,881 Prussian tons of hard coal were extracted. In 1842, the start shaft and the Friedrich shaft were in production. On August 6th of the same year, another length field was awarded. The last known production figures also come from this year: 10,457 Prussian tons of hard coal were produced. In 1846 the operation took place at the shaft Adolph . On November 27 of the following year, the Diedrich colliery was shut down. In 1899 the rights of the United Bickefeld civil engineering colliery were assigned.
