The Fündling colliery was a former hard coal mine in Dortmund .

The mine was located in the town of Hörde south of the Emscher . The mining right for the bill was in 1722 awarded . The extraction of coal was initially accomplished through a tunnel . Later the shafts Anton, Weg-Schacht and Carl as well as an art shaft were christened . In 1813 the mine was initially closed. Around 1822 the field was consolidated with the neighboring Dahlacker colliery to form the new United Fündling & Dahlacker colliery .
