history
The first shaft for extracting hard coal was laid in 1850, but closed again after an accident in 1877. It reopened thirty years later, in 1907, and coal was mined there until 1977; With four shafts, the colliery was the most important company of the Société anonyme des Charbonnages du Hasard . The colliery is still known in the early twenty-first century through urban exploration . In 2017 all parts of the mine that are not listed were demolished. The brick buildings with the Malakow tower (tower no. 1) are to be converted into a business complex.
