The Henriettenglück colliery in Essen-Rüttenscheid is a former hard coal mine . The colliery was also known under the names Zeche Henrietten Glück and Zeche Henriettenglücker Erbstollen . Although the Henriettenglück colliery was already in operation in 1799, little is reported about the colliery.

Mining history

In 1800 the mine was in operation in 1802, 25 are ringed coal per day promoted. The mine continued to operate in 1804 and 1805. In those years two shafts were entered on the Honigmann map. In 1805 the mine was still in operation and the following year the mine owners had to pay additional penalties . After 1806 the mine is no longer mentioned in the documents. On April 3, 1831 , the Henriettenglück colliery consolidated with several other mines to form the Ludwig colliery .
