Mining history

The mine was mentioned in the documents as early as 1778. In 1803 the mine was demonstrably in operation. In 1807, shaft 10 was sunk and in 1811, shaft 11. This shaft was sunk underground and further sunk as a blind shaft. In 1813 mining was carried out, the mining took place in the seam jacket of the same name . In 1815 the mine was taken out of service. In 1832 a tunnel was excavated . In 1854 the mine was still in operation independently. Promotion and workforce

The first workforce and funding figures come from the year 1834, 32,631 bushels of hard coal were mined by eleven miners . In 1836 3889 and 1838 6587 tons of coal were mined. In 1840 the production sank to 1,418½ tons of hard coal. The last known production figures of the mine come from the year 1842, 3417 Prussian tons of hard coal were extracted.
