Mining history
In 1751, the substations of the Dickebank, Schmiesbank and Miemelbank seams were leased to the entrepreneur Kirschbaum for 10 years. In 1755, the thick bank, Schmitz-Bank (Schmiesbank) and Miemelbank mining operations were carried out on the seams . There were three shafts for dismantling . The pit water in the shaft was lifted by horse pegs. There is evidence that the mine was in operation in 1756. The banker Kirschbaum went bankrupt before 1763. As a result, the mine was shut down. The mine was still open. In 1763 gave the abbot of Will Berechtsame to other trades . The mine was in operation again from 1764 to 1773. In 1783, permission was given for a deeper solution . The solution was to come from the Ruhr by means of a field scent . It is not known whether the Ackeldruft was created.
