The Lina II colliery was a hard coal mine in the Sprockhövel district of Gennebreck -Herzkamp. The colliery was a small mine that was only in operation for a few years. The Scheufelen paper mill was the owner of this small mine.

Mining history

The mine was put into operation on April 1st, 1961. It has begun a shaft for the reduction in the western part of the heart dump Kämper abzuteufen . From October of the following year, the Klare union took over the mine. In 1963 the mine reached its maximum output. With 35 miners 11,748 tons of hard coal were extracted. On January 10, 1964, operations ceased and on June 30 of the same year, the Lina II mine was shut down.
