Drawing bleeding

The drawing bleeding (also drawing bleeding or drawing ) is a vaginal bleeding shortly before or at the beginning of the birth . It is weaker than a menstrual period , usually slimy, and results from the detachment of the mucus plug in the cervical canal and the opening of small blood vessels.

Such bleeding can also occur after a gynecological examination. They do not require treatment, but must be differentiated from other bleeding . The low intensity of bleeding, a birth are ready cervix findings and the connection with incipient contractions characteristic.

The occurrence of light bleeding in other phases of pregnancy can be an indication of an impending premature birth.
