Volley Köniz is a Swiss (women's) volleyball club from Köniz . The club's first team plays in the Swiss "National League B" and plays its home games in the new Weissenstein sports hall in Bern . The association emerged from the VBC Köniz, which was founded in 1970. From 1999 to 2008 they competed under the sponsor name Zeiler Köniz and in 2003 they took part in the final in the European Top Teams Cup . The current name of the Fanion team is Edelline Köniz (since the 2016/17 season).
