The magazine was first published in 2002 by VS Verlag / Verlag für Sozialwissenschaften . The ZfEv appears twice a year. It is published by the Society for Evaluation (DeGEval). The managing editor of the Journal für Evaluation is Reinhard Stockmann, based at Saarland University in Saarbrücken. The Journal for Evaluation (ZfEv) has been published by the international science publisher Waxmann since issue 1, 2006 (5th year) .

Content

The Journal for Evaluation (ZfEv) publishes both scientific articles and practice-oriented experience reports on the theoretical basis of evaluation studies, on methodological concepts for evaluations, on application examples for the planning and implementation of evaluations, on the possibilities and limits of the use of evaluation results, on the presentation of Evaluation institutions and offers, current information on various topics and developments in the quality assurance of evaluations.
