The Zeitschrift für Heereskunde - scientific organ for the cultural history of the armed forces, their clothing, armament and equipment, for army museum news and collectors' messages (1934–1964 Zeitschrift für Heeres- und Uniformkunde ) has been a German military specialist journal since 1929 . It is published by the Gesellschaft für Heereskunde founded in 1898 (since 1952 the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Heereskunde e.V. ). It was initially published by Diepenbroick in Hamburg , later by Schulz, also in Hamburg, and is now self-published by the Gesellschaft für Heereskunde in Berlin . This published the magazine Ueberall from 1902 to 1914 .

Between 1945 and 1952 there were no issues of the Zeitschrift für Heereskunde.
