The journal for applied zoology is a zoological journal published by the publishing house Duncker & Humblot , Berlin .

history

The magazine was founded in 1909 by Karl August Lingner under the title “The practical disinfector” and published by the Deutscher Verlag für Volkswohlfahrt. In 1922 it was published as the “Journal for Disinfection and Health Care” and from 1929 as the “Journal for Health Technology and Urban Hygiene”. From 1936 on it was published under the title “Journal for Hygienic Zoology and Pest Control” and from 1954 under the title “Journal for Applied Zoology”. Volume 81, issues 1–2, was published in 1996.
