The journal for educational psychology and youth studies was an educational specialist journal that was published from 1899 to 1944 by Quelle & Meyer- Verlag Leipzig. It changed name several times, from 1911 to 1924 it was called the Journal for Educational Psychology and Experimental Pedagogy .

Frequency of publication

The magazine appeared bimonthly with 6 issues per year. At the beginning it cost 8 marks a year as a subscription. It was initially published by Ferdinand Kemsies, a senior teacher with a doctorate from the Friedrichs-Werderschen Oberrealschule in Berlin.
