The journal for Romance philology (ZrP for short) was founded in 1877 by Gustav Gröber .
Thematic focal points in the literary field are Romance literature up to the Renaissance as well as in the linguistic field the entire Romance language and, to a reasonable extent, the related general linguistics. The languages of publication are the Romance languages and German.
It is published four times a year by Max Niemeyer Verlag . The editors are Eva Buchi, Claudia Polzin-Haumann, Elton Prifti and Wolfgang Schweickard . The subscription price is 198 euros per year. Separate supplements have also been published since 1905.
