The Journal of Comparative Physiology is a scientific journal that deals with various topics in the field of physiology . The journal is available in two different editions as Journal of Comparative Physiology A and B released. The Journal of Comparative Physiology A publishes topics from the field of neuroethology , sensory, neural and behavioral biology , while Issue B focuses on topics of biochemical and ecological physiology.

The journal was first published as a journal for comparative physiology in 1924. In 1972, due to internationalization, the name was changed to the English name Journal of Comparative Physiology .
