Zephyr (band)
Zephyr was an American rock band from Boulder, Colorado . They played a blues- oriented hard rock . They are also known as the band in which Tommy Bolin began his career.
In 1968 Tommy Bolin (guitar), John Faris (keyboard), David Givens (bass), Robbie Chamberlin (drums) and Candy Givens (vocals) formed the group. In 1969 their first album Zephyr appeared on the ABC Records sub-label Probe . Bolin left the band after the second album Going Back to Colorado . With a few line-up changes, the band performed until the death of Candy Givens in 1984.
