Films about zeppelins
On request, visitors can watch films about the era of the zeppelins, including the film “Flying Ship” about the beginning with LZ 1 and the end with the crash of the “ LZ 129 Hindenburg ” in Lakehurst .
Crew uniforms
Uniforms and caps of the teams are represented by means of dolls.
Communication of the zeppelins
You can see original telegraphs and Morse code transmitters from around 1900, long and shortwave receivers and transmitters.
Unique pieces from the exhibition
The preserved airship inventory includes cutlery, on-board porcelain, glasses from the LZ 127. All of them are individually designed due to the lack of space in the airships.
Books on Zeppelins
Only part of the collected literature on the subject of Zeppelin is on display. In addition, an airship archive is maintained for scientists. The museum published very small editions of books on the subject of zeppelins of the imperial navy and army airships.
