Zerabun

Zerabun ( Belarusian Церабунь , Russian Теребунь ) is a village in Brest Raion in Breszkaja Woblasz in Belarus . The village is administratively incorporated into the Selsawet Klejniki . The zip code is 225037.

The settlement was first mentioned in a document in 1609. In that year Ioann Schuiski (relative of the Russian Tsar Vasily IV ) founded a settlement near the city of Brest and gave it the name Zerabun .

Well known is the Church of the Holy Transfiguration of the Lord from the 17th century, which was included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Belarus .

The village is located on the right bank of the Lyasnaya River , at the mouth of the river in the Western Bug . Zerabun is located on the Belarusian-Polish border (1 km away). The distance to Brest is 8 km.
