The Zero Point is a cape on the north side of the Assistance Bay within the Possession Bay on the north coast of South Georgia .
The name of the cape appears for the first time on maps from 1932, which were created during the course of surveys by scientists of the British Discovery Investigations between 1926 and 1930.
