Zhang Wei (badminton, 1987)
Zhang Wei ( Chinese 张伟 , born February 2, 1987 ) is a former Chinese badminton player (not to be confused with his somewhat older namesake and double specialist Zhang Wei ).
Career
Zhang Wei was an outspoken mixed specialist, even though he had one of his first successes at the 2004 Chinese championships in men's doubles with Sang Yang . At the Asian Championships in 2006 he won the bronze medal in mixed with Yu Yang . In 2007 he resigned from the Chinese national team and ended his active career because he received too few international tests.
