The Zhongnan University of Economics and Law ( Chinese 中南 财经 政法 大学 , in German also University of Economics and Law in Central and Southern China ) is a university in Wuhan , China . It was founded in 1948 as Zhongyuan University (中原 大学 'University of Central China'). Its finance faculty was later merged with the corresponding faculties at Wuhan University , Sun Yat-sen University, etc. to become the Central South Institute of Finance. This was later renamed Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics (中南 财经 大学). The law school merged with other universities to form the Central South Institute of Law (中南 政法 学院).
Both universities were then united and separated again during the Cultural Revolution until they finally merged again to form the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law.
The MBA program has been accredited by the Association of MBAs .
