Zhujiang beer

Zhujiang Beer ( 珠江 啤酒 / Pearl River Beer) is a lager from China, and is one of the three national Chinese beers (together with Yanjing and Tsingtao ).

With 5.3 percent alcohol by volume, the beer is characterized by its light, straw-colored appearance and its subtle malt taste, which is emphasized by the delicate hop taste. Zhujiang is the second most consumed beer in China; 48,000 bottles are consumed per hour. It is particularly successful in southern China. The beer is exported to many countries including Canada , France , Australia , USA , Sweden and the UK .

Zhujiang is brewed by Guangzhou Zhujiang Brewery Group Co., Ltd in Guangzhou , southern China. The brewery itself is one of the largest production sites on just one site. The beer is brewed with the fresh spring water of the Pearl River , which is pumped directly into the brewery to maintain quality and freshness. The fresh spring water is then brewed in conjunction with Czech hops, German barley, Canadian malt and rice.
