Zhuxi

Zhuxi (Chin. 竹溪 县; Pinyin : Zhúxī Xiàn) is a district that belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture -level city of Shiyan in the northwest of the Chinese province of Hubei . It has an area of ​​3,300 km² and has a population of around 360,000 (2003). Its main town is the large community of Chengguan (城关 镇).

The Cixiaogou Caihuangmu site with the rock carvings ( Cixiaogou “Caihuangmu” moya慈孝 沟 “采 皇 木” 摩崖) from the time of the Ming dynasty has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-847) since 2006 .
