Drawweaver
Ziechenweber , also Bettziechenweber or Ziechner , are names for a former craft occupation . They wove linen pillowcases and duvets . The "Fraternitas of the Cologne bed-making weavers", the first proper union, took place in 1149. In Frankfurt a. In M. they were called cover sheets and were often mentioned since the middle of the 14th century. Women also found plenty of employment in this trade.
