Ziegelhütte (Mitterfels)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Einöde Ziegelhütte was a former district of Mitterfels north of Wollersdorf and southwest of Eisenhart .

In a map and the accompanying textual explanation from around 1829, the place Ziegelhütte is listed in Mitterfels as a place of residence with a house and a brickworks. There is no evidence for the period before 1820, as well as evidence from later periods.

Simple systems for brick production in field fire brick factories were called brickworks at that time .
