Gypsy oaks

The gypsy oak is an old oak on the territory of the Polish municipality of Kluki in the Bełchatowski powiat .

It stands on the edge of the Grobla recreational area with a few ponds, two kilometers north of Kluki on the way to Parzno . An information board in front of it speaks of an age of around 900 years, but this age does not seem certain. Another indication describes the tree as a 600 year old pedunculate oak. The trunk circumference is 5.02 m. A folk legend is associated with the tree , which speaks of Queen Hedwig I once staying in the area.
