The Cistercian monastery of San Vicente is since 1156 the monastery of Cistercian nuns in Segovia in Spain .

history

The current monastery of Santa María y San Vicente el Real on the Eresma River in Segovia (on Calle San Vicente el Real 44) emerged from an early Benedictine convent and became Cistercian in 1156. It has been around since then, but is endangered due to obsolescence.
