Zoe Cruz

Zoe Cruz (born February 2, 1955 ) is an American bank manager. Since 2006 she has been co-president of the investment bank Morgan Stanley . Because of the failures in the trading and risk business for which Cruz was responsible, the manager was fired by Morgan Stanley in November 2007.

Zoe Cruz earned a bachelor's degree in literature from Harvard University in 1977 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1982 . In the same year she began her career at Morgan Stanley, becoming Vice President in 1986, Principal in 1988 and Managing Director in 1990 . From 2000 to 2005 she was head of Fixed Income, Commodities and Foreign Exchange .
