Zoe Lyons
Zoe Lyons (born October 3, 1971 in Haverfordwest , Wales) is a British comedian and stand-up comedian who lives in Brighton.
Life
Little is known about Lyon's personal life. She was born in Haverfordwest , Wales, but grew up in Ireland, where she attended a Catholic primary school in Dunmore East in Wexford . They later lived in Surrey and Glasgow.
Today she lives in Brighton with her wife Sindy.
Career
Lyons' first job was packing jam jars in a factory in Glasgow.
In 1992 Lyons graduated from York University with a degree in Psychology.
In 2001 she took part in the first season of the reality show " Survivor ". She was selected just under eleventh of the 14 participants after two members (Richard and Jackie) of the "tribe" to which she was assigned on the show had sided with the eventual winner Charlotte. There was a tie in the vote, so the votes in previous episodes were decisive.
Since winning the Funny Women Award in 2004, Lyons has been part of the UK stand-up scene. But she also appears with a normal program in London and Brighton. In 2007 her first solo program “Fight or Flight” was nominated for the “best newcomer award” at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe . Her second solo program, "Mangled Mantra of the Messed Up Modern Mind", contained a joke for which she received the award "Dave's Joke of the Fringe" from UKTV Dave.
The Independent listed her on the tenth Pink List in 2009 as one of the 101 Most Influential Homosexual People in Britain. Lyons took 81st place.
In 2011 Lyons was invited to perform “Clownbusting” at the Melbourne Comedy Festival in Australia as part of their second international tour . The reviews were positive, Australian Stage wrote:

In 2018 she took part in the program Celebrity MasterChef , where she reached the semifinals.
