Customs auditor
A customs auditor in Switzerland is an employee of the back office of a customs office.
The area of responsibility includes, among other things, the collection of the performance-based heavy vehicle charge (HVF) , transit clearance of passengers on the railways or inland waterways and freight traffic .
Customs auditors are also used in the airports of Zurich and Geneva for customs controls in passenger traffic (spot checks of goods that are subject to declaration or the fight against smuggling or money laundering ).
