Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer (often just Zolof ) is a power pop band that has its origins in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , due to the core members of the band, Vince Ratti , Rachel Minton and Anthony Green . Their music is typical of the pop-rock genre and is heavily influenced by pop music . The band members refer to their music as "spunk rock" because of the cheerful and simple lyrics, as well as the catchy rhythms.

The band took part in the Mountain Dew Circuit Breakout challenge on MTV2 in 2006 , but were beaten by the California band Halifax. In 2007 the split EP Duet All Night Long followed with Reel Big Fish , on which there are covered songs.
