Zoot Money's Big Roll Band
Zoot Money's Big Roll Band was a British soul band that was mostly successful in Great Britain in the mid-1960s .
Zoot Money himself played the organ and sang in a funky blues-inspired style. With his powerful, unmistakable personality he dominated every song and was accompanied by an excellent band. This included Andy Summers , who would later become even more famous with The Police .
The band made it into the charts once with the single Big Time Operator , in which Zoot describes himself in all modesty.
Zoot later formed an experimental group called Dantalion's Chariot before becoming the organist for Eric Burdon's Animals .
