commitment

The Italian city of Vicenza has been using Zorin OS instead of Windows on around 900 computers since April 2016 . In April 2017, the city drew a positive interim conclusion. Users are said to have been positively surprised that Zorin OS can be operated in a similar way to Windows. The “pleasant graphical user interface” and the speed of the system were also praised. So far, the changeover has been cost-neutral (including setup, optimization and training). In the long term, however, “considerable” savings are expected, including a. as PCs could be used longer. In addition to the savings effects, Zorin OS should also bring additional security advantages, enable more efficient work through better performance and the conversion should be a "political and ethical" decision.
