Zuberbach ( Croatian Sabara ) is a village in the municipality of Weiden bei Rechnitz in Burgenland .

The place is mentioned in 1443 under the name Zabar . Around 1540 mainly German names appear in the chronicle for the inhabitants. Over time, the German-speaking population, which was greatly decimated during the Turkish era, was supplemented by Croatian immigrants and finally assimilated.
