Oberpodgoria ( Croatian Podgorje ) is a village in the municipality of Weiden bei Rechnitz in Burgenland.

Chapel of Upper Podgoria

The place is located north of Weiden in the southern slopes of the Günser Mountains . Oberpodgoria was first mentioned in a document from 1614, but the place is likely to have been created by Wallachian settlers around 1500. 1614 confirmed Thomas Erdödy the "Valachi of Cziklin and Podgoria" their privileges. Today the place has 108 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020).
