Acquisition

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Additional acquisition referred to in Germany a household economic model of profit- independence . What is meant is a first or only self-employed part-time activity in addition to a main activity that is not aimed at gainful employment , e.g. B. private housekeeping. A first or only self-employed full-time job, on the other hand, is referred to as main occupation , a second job as self-employed or part-time self-employment as a sideline .

According to a study published in 2006 by the University of Bonn , which was based on an evaluation of the microcensus and the EU labor force sample, "Starting up and self-employment in additional employment in Germany is mainly carried out in combination with household and family tasks, less often in combination with school or studies", As a result, self-employment in Germany is largely a women's domain .

In agriculture , a distinction is made between full / main employment , part-time employment and additional employment. The main occupation is therefore a business whose operating income is almost entirely generated in agriculture. Additional income includes businesses with an external income of between 10 and 50%, while secondary income includes companies with an external income from an agricultural activity or another occupation of over 50%.
