Train number printer

The train number printer is a technical facility of the railway .

Train number printers are installed on heavily frequented railway lines, mainly in modern track diagram interlockings in connection with a train number reporting system. They register the train numbers of the trains with their departure, transit and arrival times at the individual operating points and continuously print out the data.
