The Zuidlaardermeer , also called Wolfsbargemeer , is a lake north of Zuidlaren in the Netherlands . Most of the lake is in the province of Groningen , but around a quarter is also in the province of Drenthe .

With the exception of the fairways, the lake is mostly shallow (about 1 meter deep). It is very popular with sailors and water sports enthusiasts because of the marinas, and there is also a recreational beach on the lake.

The lake and the surrounding polders are managed by the ' Het Groninger Landschap ' foundation ('The Groningen Landscape').
