The Zuondra tunnel is the uppermost roundabout tunnel of the Albula Railway on the Bergün - Preda section in the canton of Graubünden ( Switzerland ). At the same time, it is the penultimate tunnel on the line (coming from Thusis). It has a length of 535 meters. The total of three roundabout tunnels and four Albula aviaducts (crossing of the valley) ensure the gain in height, without which an adhesion railway would not be possible. What is special is the fact that the Zuondra tunnel and the Toua tunnel were driven directly one above the other into the same mountain flank.
