The Zwanzigrappenstück or the Zwanzigräppler , Swiss German Zwänzger (li), Zwanz (i) ger (li), Zwänzgi, is a Swiss currency coin and has a value of one fifth of a franc = 20 cents .

It was first minted in 1850 from billon with a silver content of 15 percent. The coins from 1881–1938 are made of pure nickel and are poorly recognized by coin machines, which is why they were taken out of circulation in 2004. A cupronickel alloy has been used since 1939 .

The current motif was introduced in 1881. On the obverse it shows the coin value (without the currency unit) framed by a wreath of alpine roses . The reverse shows a Libertas head (often misinterpreted as Helvetia ).

Based on the ten centime piece , the " Batzen ", the twenty centime piece was previously also called "two-centime".
