The Freiherrn von Zweybrücken were a German aristocratic family that descended from the Wittelsbach rulers and were based on Duke Christian IV of Pfalz-Zweibrücken (1722–1775) and his morganatic wife , the former dancer Maria Anna Camasse, later Countess von Forbach (1734–1807 ) goes back.
