Between Hamburg and Haiti (radio broadcast)

Between Hamburg and Haiti is a travel magazine on the radio that has been produced by Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) since May 16, 1951 . The radio program is broadcast weekly on Sunday mornings; formerly from NDR 2 , today from NDR Info . The program is currently broadcast from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

The title of the program is borrowed from Erich Waschneck 's film of the same name . The founding editor of the show was Werner Baecker . In 1965, Wolfgang Meisenkothen , who had previously worked as a freelance writer for Zwischen Hamburg and Haiti , took over the management. Since his retirement in February 2008, Wolfgang Heinemann has been responsible for the program as editor.
