Cypriots

As Cypriots / Cypriot or Cypriot / Zypriotin which is endemic population of the Mediterranean island of Cyprus referred. The adjective for this is Cypriot or Cypriot .

The terms “Cypriot”, “Cypriot”, “Cypriot” are considered out of date in diplomatic communications. The German Foreign Office and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs only use the terms “Cypriot” and “Cypriot”.

Occasionally, the Greek Cypriots were previously referred to as "Cypriots", whereas the Cypriot Turks were called "Cypriots"; today the term “Cypriots” is common for both ethnic groups. Nonetheless, the Duden (25th edition, 2010) defines "Cypriot" as "Cypriot Greek", while "Cypriot" as "inhabitant of Cyprus".
