Zzyzzyxx is a maze arcade game created by Advanced Microcomputer Systems ( Cinematronics ) in 1982 .

Game description

The player has to steer the character named Zzyzzyxx through a maze and collect objects.

His dream woman Lola is at the top or bottom of the screen . In between there are 12 rows of stone blocks, with a few gaps in them, which move horizontally to the left or right. The entry is made via a 2-way joystick , whereby the figure can only be moved up or down. At the push of a button, a stone can be created that briefly walled in the pawn and thus protects it from enemies (bugs) that try to catch it. There are bombs, rockets and brittle stones as additional obstacles.

The object of the game is to collect all the presents Lola gives him, e.g. B. Lollipops, flowers and rings. When you have collected enough she whistles and you get to her. In addition, the color of the stones changes.

Additional Information

The game is always last on an alphabetical list of arcade games.

In the KLOV it is ranked 3rd in the rarity rating. The prototype was still called Brix . The game can best be compared with Frogger .
