emelFM2 is a free file manager for Linux and other Unix-like operating systems . The layout is similar to that of the Norton Commander . In addition, there is another window below the two file windows, which shows the output of the file operations. The appearance of the window, such as the colors and symbols used, can be changed.
All file operations are provided with keyboard shortcuts and can be adapted to personal requirements.
Further functions of emelFM2 include the packing and unpacking of archives, the mounting of file systems , extensive search functions, an internal viewer / editor, bookmarks, configurable file type-related commands, a command line and many more.
