In addition, futureSAX supports founders and entrepreneurs in the search for capital providers or investors as well as project and cooperation partners.

Background and development

Currently (as of 2019), Saxony is one of the TOP 20 innovation locations in Europe. The Free State has set itself the goal of taking a top position in the TOP 10 of the most innovative and economically strongest regions in Europe.

For this reason, the Saxon State Ministry for Economics, Labor and Transport started the futureSAX business plan competition for the IT industry in 1999. In 2002 the program was expanded to include all areas of the economy. Since mid-2013, futureSAX has been looking after companies not only when they are founded, but also when it comes to growth and represents an interface to the scientific landscape in Saxony.
