Abo is an East Timorese Suco in the Quelicai administrative office ( Baucau municipality ).

Before the 2015 territorial reform, Abo had an area of 2.87 km². Now it is 6.71 km². The Suco is located in the southeast of the Quelicai administrative office. To the west is the Suco Bualale , north of the Suco Lacoliu , east and south of the Suco Laisorolai de Cima .
In the center is the place Uaidora, in the south the village Osso-Messa ( Ossomessa , Ossomeca ) and in the north the place Abo-Uaimatele ( Waimatele ). There are primary schools in Uaidora and Abo-Uaimatele ( Escola Primaria Catolica Abo-Uaimatele ).
The four Aldeias Abo Cairedo , Abo-Da'e-Mena , Abo-Lir and Abo-Matebian are located in the Suco . The Aldeia Osso-Messa is located in Suco Bualale , while Abo-Lir ( Lir ) and Abo-Matebian are located in Suco Laisorolai de Cima.
Residents
524 inhabitants live in the Suco (2015), of which 274 are men and 250 women. The population density is 78.0 inhabitants / km². There are 131 households in the Suco. Almost 100% of the population name Makasae as their mother tongue.
politics
In the 2004/2005 elections , Adelino dos Reis was elected Chefe de Suco. In the 2009 elections won Salustiano Soares and in 2016 Fidelio Sarmento .
